I was trying to stay busy last Sunday because I was depressed. Story of my life lately. I need to snap out of it Sometimes when bad things happen, the whole world takes on a gray cast and you just see everything negatively. And then you attract more negativity...vicious cycle. I don't want to be like that, especially because I don't want my mood rubbing off on Dylan. So instead of wallowing, I forced myself to get up and do some housework and made Dylan help me, then I took him to the movies to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was pretty cute, and I'm glad we went - though it is the hardest thing to do when you're depressed, it usually makes me feel better to get out of the house.

Note to self: Carry more cash I never have cash. (Just ask my mom.) I don't go to the bank very often, and Kris always has our debit card with him and I carry the checkbook. Well, the movies doesn't take checks. And it was Sunday. And Kris was in Auburn with the debit card. Luckily, I had a small amount of cash in my purse, but it was only $16, and it cost $12 for the tickets. That left us $4 for popcorn and a soda. Well, you know that wasn't going to cut it. And we HAD to have popcorn at the movies So I asked if I could just buy a cup of water and pay $25 (or whatever) for the cup. The guy told me he can't sell me just a cup-if I want a cup I'll have to pay $3.90 (the price of a small soda) So I could only buy the popcorn. Dylan and I decided that we could just get a drink from the water fountain on a bathroom break. So we sat there eating all this salty popcorn with no drink. I felt so bad...we must have run to the water fountain 5-6 times during the movie for a "water break." My poor baby But he was a good sport about it and never made me feel bad even a little bit It was almost like a game, seeing how long we could go before we just had to have a drink. Haha. Love that boy.
