Once again, I will vote for the lesser of two evils instead of the person Iwould bereally excited to see in office. In this case, mychoice will beObama. Iapos;m registered as an independant because I never understood enough about politics to feel qualified to vote. As a matter of fact, Iapos;ve only ever voted once in my life and that was for Al Gore. Isnapos;t it ironic how the first time I believe myself to be knowledgable enough to make a good decision, the candidate I voted for won the popular vote, but not the election.

Why in the hell canapos;t we get rid of the old-fashioned electoral college? Who stops that from happening?

Why Obama, you might ask me? He is pro-choice, pro-gay/lesbian, more in touch with lower and middle class, and generally well educated.

Why not McCain? Heapos;s against abortion, extremely wealthy, an eerily devout "Creepy Christian" type, and generally urks me with his sly smiles and cocky gestures.

To simply summarize my decision, I believe Obama is at least sincere and passionate about the job while McCain comes across tome as"face wearer"who will tell you whatever you want to hear to get elected.

Even though Obama will get my vote, barring any future incidences, I still donapos;t like his association with his church or his association with Bill Ayers. Nonetheless, if America elects McCain, I will never vote again. Maybe my intuition is too strong at times but I believe myself a good judge of moral character. In my gut, I know McCain is in this for less admirable reasons than Obama.

Good luck America, were going to need it on this one
